- Ladders - click to climb
- We’ve heard your feedback about ladders and made major improvements to how they work.
- First, we’ve added a new way to climb ladders: you can now interact with them to snap directly onto the ladder. This is especially useful when climbing from above. Previously, getting onto a ladder from the top was difficult and often nearly impossible.

- You can still simply walk toward a ladder to start climbing. Since many players are already familiar with this behavior, we decided to keep it unchanged.
- We’ve also improved ladder snapping detection overall, especially when stepping off ladders, making movement feel much smoother and more reliable.
- Ladders - controls
- Previously, movement direction was determined by your look angle. Looking upward meant moving forward would take you up, while looking downward meant moving forward would take you down. We’ve now added a setting that lets you choose your preferred behavior, including an option where moving forward always means up and moving backward always means down.

- We’ve heard that many of you want to be able to turn off your vehicle lights at night. Good news! You can now fully control your vehicle’s lights and turn them on or off whenever you want!
- By default, the lights automatically turn on at dusk once per day, but you can disable this in the settings if you prefer full manual control.
- Added: Storage sorting and searching
- By popular request: We added sorting and searching functionality to the vehicle (and dog companion) storage. You can now:
- Sort alphabetically.
- Sort by stack size.
- Show all food first.

- Fixed that achievement are given to connected players in multiplayer at the right time (together with the host).
- Fixed elevators sometimes being bugged in multiplayer.
- Prevent immediate fall damage when joining a game.
- When encountering a multiplayer error, the UI now also shows an error code. If you are encountering a multiplayer error, please include that code in your report.
- Steam Deck: Fixed that it is no longer possible to add invalid characters to licence plate, which lead to save issues.

- Dog Companion Material Deposit
- We added a highly requested quality-of-life feature: when you deposit resources into your vehicle and your trusty companion is nearby, they will automatically deposit the contents of their pouch into the vehicle as well. This means you no longer have to remove materials from their pouch one by one just to store them.
