- The Titan Reaper Update
- We have some big news.
- Switch release
- The game is now out on the Nintendo Switch! That's exciting for us, but you're here for the Steam version, so...
- Titan Reaper mode
- Hard mode is here! In addition to enemies being beefier and hitting harder, their attack patterns have been altered, and some bosses even have new tricks up their sleeves. If you found yourself thinking, "good game, I wish it were harder", then this is for you.
- In addition, normal mode has been tweaked, not to make it easier or harder, but a little more consistent with the intended experience.
- Hard mode can be activated or deactivated at any point through the options screen without penalty.
- Extras
- There is now a little extras menu where you can read an interview in which the developers discuss the design and development history of the game, or you can play on a jukebox to hear your favourite tunes on repeat. You can find the extras menu on the title screen.
- Bugs & Polish
- Predictably, switching to a new engine with Version 2.0 introduced a range of small-but-annoying bugs and overlooked problems. We've spent the last month ironing out all these creases. Here is a non-exhaustive list:
- - Fixed a whole load of animations triggering incorrectly.
- - Fixed places where sound effects weren't triggering properly.
- - Fixed a big bug with how damage is calculated.
- - Added seeds to places where they were missing.
- - Added a couple of new music tracks.
- - Correctly implemented a scene that never triggered properly, even in the original game release.
- The Future?
- The next major update will be to localise the game into other languages, but we do expect to make minor updates in the meantime to address anything else we've missed.
- We'll see you then! á••( á› )á•—
