    12. Wayne, a struggling method actor, inherits the city's    
    13. last porno cinema from his estranged father Al. Seeing  
    14. this as an unconventional opportunity to reconcile      
    15. their relationship, Wayne absorbs himself in the        
    16. underworld of the pornography business. While running    
    17. the cinema Wayne meets a cast of characters including    
    18. Ralf, a slimy business partner of Al's, James, a young  
    19. man with special needs employed by Al, and Athar, a      
    20. young boy who lives in the upstairs apartments. Each    
    21. character acts as a piece of a puzzle in helping Wayne  
    22. rediscover the father he barely knew. But the old        
    23. cinema turns out to be much more than Wayne              
    24. anticipated. Between the community's pressure to have    
    25. it closed and the antics of the devoted patrons,        
    26. unresolved traumatic experiences from his youth bubble  
    27. their way to the surface and begin to paint a clearer    
    28. picture of Al. Landing his first lead role in a film,    
    29. Wayne can't help but recognize the similarities          
    30. between this fictional character and his father. Wayne  
    31. slowly takes on Al's persona in preparation of          
    32. filming, but begins to lose his own identity in the      
    33. process and eventually his grasp on reality. As Wayne    
    34. lives and breathes everything Al, he finds himself in    
    35. a much darker place than anything he ever could have    
    36. imagined. No longer just a character study, Wayne        
    37. painfully reconstructs his traumatic experiences using  
    38. Athar in the role of himself as a child. But Wayne      
    39. goes too far and ends up on the wrong side of his        
    40. memory. It's only then that he realizes the errors of    
    41. his ways. He must now find reconcilement with the        
    42. people he has affected along the way. In a final act    
    43. of closure, Wayne decides to close the porno cinema      
    44. and embrace his own identity.
