- Abandoned vehicles can now be cleared from the streets, allowing traffic to flow freely once again. Summon a Tow Truck, and the obstruction will be dealt with immediately. Offending vehicles can be sent to the city impound, the salvage yard, or - if tied to criminal activity- the Forensic Unit for analysis.
- Tow Truck Shift Assignment
- But that’s not all. We’ve added a new shift assignment, ‘Tow Detail’. Pull on the gloves and coveralls, and our new Traffic Dispatch operator will assign tow objectives around the city. A slower change of pace, ideal for when you need a break from high-octane activities!
- Salvage Yard Machinery
- The new salvage yard location features heavy-duty industrial machinery:
- A magnetic crane for lifting scrapped vehicles
- A vehicle compactor for turning them into cubes of metal
- Warning: This machinery is dangerous and should be used with extreme caution to avoid risk of injury to operators or to the public.
- The ACPD Tow Truck can, of course, be outfitted with the six liveries released in our last update.
- New Lightbars
- Further, we are proud to introduce a suite of exciting new lightbar configurations to explore and personalise your vehicle - or all vehicles with. Mix and match with liveries to find your favorite combinations.
- Unmarked Patrol Vehicles
- Also by popular demand, players can now utilise an Unmarked Patrol Vehicle. This (and plain clothes outfits) will allow officers to remain undetected for longer. These vehicles use concealed lights on the dashboard, rear deck, and grille.
- New Clothing Customizations
- To support Tow Truck roleplay, players now have two new clothing options to choose between:
- Reflective Vest
- Coveralls
- Kelly has also been provided a snazzy plain clothes outfit, which will be automatically assigned when the player chooses this option. No more blown cover!
- New Music Track
- Finally, this update also introduces a new music track by Gavin Harrison, ‘Wrecker Blues’, now included in the digital soundtrack.
