- New Features
- To help you get in the mood for Christmas, Balthazar now sells a brand new Christmas bundle in his Drawing Shop until 12 Jan 2026. Build decorative Christmas trees, Christmas sleighs, Christmas presents, and even a snowman. Try clicking the Christmas tree to turn your farm into a winter wonderland!
- A mysterious new Luma egg is now available for purchase in Zara’s Pet Shop until 12 Jan 2026. Can you guess what it is before you hatch it? Here’s a hint: it’s got a red nose…
- A festive new Santa hat and an Elf hat are now available in the Character Creator and in wardrobes in player houses. Make sure to play Luma Island before 12 Jan 2026 to unlock them!
- You can now finally toggle grass and plant growth on or off on your farm via Main Menu > Options > Game.
- Lumas will now gather resources for you if you place them in Luma Nests:
- Water Lumas:
- In Nests: Dig up critters and items from the sea.
- As companions: Dig up critters and find treasure.
- Earth Lumas:
- In Nests: Dig up seeds.
- As companions: Find treasure and harvest extra crops.
- Nature Lumas:
- In Nests: Dig up forageables from nature.
- As companions: Harvest forageables and find treasure.
- Mining Lumas:
- In Nests: Dig up items from caves.
- As companions: Find treasure and reignite torches.
- Lost Lumas:
- In Nests: Dig up loot from threats.
- As companions: Attack threats and find treasure.
- Fixes
- Performance now remains stable during long play sessions, instead of slowly degrading over time.
- Items spawned by pigs should no longer end up as eyesores in unreachable places.
- Craftbenches no longer quietly pocket your ingredients when you leave the farm and come back.
- The “Collect ’em all†achievement should now trigger correctly in what is hopefully the last affected save game. It’s gotta be the last one, right? We already fixed this bug 3-4 times. :D
- Buying the Pumpkin Luma egg in the Pet Shop before collecting the 15 unique Luma eggs in the Farm, Forest, Mountains, and Jungle no longer results in a risk of duplicate Luma eggs.
- The Torn Pages for the Damaged Pirate Books no longer risk going missing from your inventory in rare cases.
- The “Find the Pirate crew†quest now rewards you correctly even if you rudely skip checking in with the Captain after finding the 6th or 7th crew member.
- Permits for player houses no longer mysteriously vanish if you dismantle a house while another player is still inside (no idea why you guys do that, but hey, it’s fixed!).
- Farm animals will now respect newly placed fences and gates instead of casually walking straight through them.
- Chickens and rabbits now grasp the concept of “daytime†and will actually leave their homes when the sun is up.
- Dogs should no longer stand frozen on that one strangely fascinating spot in town.
- The woodgrouse now, very sensibly, avoids flying through the terrain.
- Critters are now displayed in the fishing bait menu according to their order in the four biomes. Yup, that’s definitely neater to look at.
- A rare situation where a player could not re-enter the jungle cave after dying will no longer occur. Phew!
- The ramps of the Pirate’s Tavern and the Cottage have remembered how ramps work and are no longer randomly inaccessible.
