    7. 🎃We're happy to announce that our latest free update is now live! 🎃

    9. We originally planned for this to be a very small update. After seeing the community's excitement for Halloween we decided to make a big push to add more! Rest assured, everything will be available permanently so you get the enjoy this all year long!

    13. NEW SPIRIT:
    14. A brand new Spirit has been added to the Spiritdex!

    16. NEW CONTENT:
    17. A new Halloween playlist, Spooky Melodies, is now available. The perfect vibes for the month of October! Rest assured, it will be available all year long.
    18. A handful of new Halloween-themed Spirit cosmetics have been added!
    19. New Halloween themed clothing items are now available in the Wardrobe including witch hats and more!
    20. New Halloween themed decorations are available across the room! Including rugs, hanging lights, wall decor options, and more!
    21. 5 new fall and Halloween-themed window backgrounds are now selectable.
    22. More Spirit activities have been added! Spirits will now rest on the bed with you. Also, Moonpaw and Lenny can read, and Inkster can write!
    23. Skirt options are now available! For the moment only one length is available, but we hope to add more in the future.
    24. Two new hairstyles are now available!

    26. QOL/IMPROVEMENTS:
    27. In the Wardrobe and Decor menus, opening a new category will automatically scroll into view the equipped item.
    28. On the Steam Deck, clicking on editable text boxes will now automatically prompt the virtual keyboard.
    29. Some text sizes were adjusted for better readability, such as the to-do list tabs, current task preview, and Spiritdex descriptions.
    30. When clicking and dragging to set the pomodoro timer minutes, it will now increment in steps of 5 minutes to make it easier to reach round numbers. The value can still be set to anything in-between when typed.

    32. BUG FIXES:
    33. Fixed an issue where the game's window would not properly maximize and take the whole monitor when using the maximize button, or from selecting windowed-fullscreen in the graphics menu.
    34. Fixed an issue where the game's window would not remember last user-defined size when in windowed mode.
    35. Fixed an issue where the daily completed task bonus would be given even when unchecking an existing task
    36. Fixed an issue where some Spirits could be petted while playing the first-time discovery animation
    37. Fixed clipping issue with Cat Ears and headphones accessories
    38. Fixed clipping issue with long socks in certain activities
    39. Fixed clipping issue with some long hairstyles and hoodies
    40. Fixed clipping issue with Hijab in thick turtleneck sweater

    45. A little reminder that we have a small supporter pack DLC available that includes special galaxy skins for all the spirits! With this update we are also adding a new one for the latest Spirit! If you enjoy this update consider helping us by purchasing this DLC 💗.

    48. After a short break to play some of the other amazing games coming out this month, we'll be jumping on a winter holiday update! We don't want to over-promise so we plan on keeping it small, but look forward to a few new cozy items to help you get into the holiday spirit! ❄️

    50. We're constantly working on QoL improvements and content, so please stay tuned. We always want to be sure things are working before we announce them. We plan to continue to support Spirit City throughout 2025, and we have lots of exciting things planned!
