- Game Update Patch Notes V1.1.7
- This small update addresses a number of bugs and includes minor adjustments to improve gameplay flow and player experience. We’ve fixed several softlock issues, adjusted specific gameplay sequences for smoother navigation, and polished some visuals. Thank you for your ongoing support and feedback!
- Bug Fixes
- Fixed an edge case where the player could receive killzone damage while transitioning from the Yokozuna Boss Room to the Megumi Mountain Summit after receiving the Kabuto Wings.
- Fixed an issue where newly received items occasionally would not disappear in the Japanese language version, specifically for Chomper Daruma and Kodama Charcoal notifications. This was due to an unrelated issue causing lag during the fade-out of item gain notifications, particularly affecting UI blocks that are localized before appearing after the item received pop-up is deactivated.
- Fixed the third eye animation persisting after Sakura Shogun is defeated when using a third eye Daruma at the exact time of the Shogun’s defeat. This was most noticeable when using a longer-lasting Daruma, like Third-eye Yuki.
- Fixed a bug with Kiyoshi's dialogue where it could be improperly triggered when fading to black after collecting all music sheets for A Monk's Melody. This only occurred if the player spammed the interact button during the fade.
- Fixed an edge case softlock where breaking a treasure chest and receiving an Omamori simultaneously could overlap with Daitengu's automatic dialogue, especially when Kitsune Kifuda was in the player's inventory.
- Fixed an edge case in which the player could receive killzone damage while transitioning from the Yokozuna Boss Room to the Megumi Mountain Summit after receiving the Kabuto Wings.
- Fixed the new item received occasionally not disappearing in the Japanese language, particularly for Chomper Daruma and Kodama Charcoal received notifications. This might have been due to a somewhat unrelated issue causing a serious lag while the item gained notifications were supposed to fade out, most notably UI blocks that are localized before appearing after the item received popup has been set to deactivate.
- Fixed the third eye animation persisting after Sakura Shogun has been defeated when using a third eye Daruma right when Shogun is defeated. This is noticeable mostly when using a Daruma that lasts a while, like third-eye Yuki.
- Gameplay Improvements
- Slightly adjusted a ground collider at the Midori Forest - Kitsune Burrows Entrance to better match the visual representation of the terrain.
- Modified geometry for the seed puzzle in Midori Forest Treetops to make batting puzzles less cumbersome. Removed a set of spikes on the left wall to prevent off-screen seed destruction and reduce player frustration. Added an additional seed sack above the first to reduce the need for off-screen batting.
- Slowed down the speed of the Nurikabe Thwomp block on the bottom left of the third floor of the Imperial Castle. This provides a more forgiving window for jumping off onto the left wall while avoiding the moving lasers.
- Reduced the rotation speed of the laser set on the left side of the first floor of the Imperial Castle. Removed the spikes on the left wall to give players more traversal options.
- Increased the locked position time before firing for Asahi's Key Rifle Replicas on the third floor of the Imperial Castle, making the timing more lenient. Updated the reticle animation to better indicate when the laser will fire.
- Removed a falling debris hazard from the first room of the Asahi Chase Sequence.

- Improved set dressing in the Midori Forest Thorn Maze and Burrows Entry for better visual cohesion.
