- Here are some additional bugs we have fixed:
- Giraffes sometimes stood still and didn’t react to anything during the tutorial. This issue had been around for a long time, but it was very difficult to find and pinpoint. Now, it’s fully resolved, and their appetite has been restored.
- Infected animals sometimes wouldn’t heal before transforming, or in some cases, they would mutate when shot with the correct medicine. Fixed.
- On Xbox controllers, players couldn’t exit the kitchen-factory using (B). This was just an oversight on our part—fixed now.
- Fixed a very rare issue where a mutant not only attacked the player but also permanently took away their controls.
- Mutants would revert to normal animals after being fed meat, only to transform back again. Fixed.
- Some sounds were not affected by the volume settings. Fixed.
- The disk insertion animation in the laboratory computer could be triggered an unlimited number of times. Now it can't 🙂
- Lily's voice would become loud at the start of the game after listening to the tape recorder. Fixed.
- Hidden segments in the ending tracker are now visible during gameplay to make it easier to unlock endings across the entire tree. Hiding the whole tree turned out to be a bad idea.
- Removed the bipedal aggressive monkey. It was fun, but it broke IK.
- We still have some known issues that we will be fixing soon, such as animals and bosses getting stuck in certain places, a couple of conditions for achievements, some areas where you can’t pet animals or draw blood, and a few incorrect subtitles.
- There are also some hard-to-reproduce bugs, so please don’t forget to use the bug report feature and provide as much detail as possible. This has proven to be a powerful tool for solving complex issues in the game.
