- Update v13.2.6 incl DLC:
- The injured require First Aid!
- You encounter a major accident with injured people? Take care of the patients, perform first aid and save lives! Not only will you have to gather witness testimonies, but with the upcoming update, you’ll also need to provide essential first aid and call medical professionals to take them to the hospital once their condition has been stabilized! This feature will unlock upon achieving 7 duty stars in district 2 for balancing purposes.
- How are you feeling? The accident patients you will encounter can be in three different health states: slightly injured, critically injured and being unconscious, and critically injured and being in a state of cardiac arrest. Slightly injured NPCs can be treated by applying bandages, after which they can be interviewed as accident witnesses. Critically injured patients will not be responsive and will therefore not be available for verbal interaction. The patients being critically injured also must be treated differently, as unconscious patients do not require CPR and would be taken care of by applying bandages and calling the medics for assistance. Patients being in a state of cardiac arrest need to be resuscitated by performing CPR on them as the top priority!
- Save a life! Perform CPR and engage in a minigame featuring a pattern on an action line, requiring precise timing within the defined threshold to earn points. A successful completion of the minigame by accumulating a sufficient number of points will stabilize the patient, allowing further treatment with bandages. A failed CPR attempt here results in the patient losing consciousness while still regaining their breath.
- Did someone call for an ambulance? As soon as you have performed first aid and finished any possible interviews with the patients, proceed to mark them for dismissal and request assistance from the medical team, which now consists of two medics, who can carry the patients on a stretcher. An ambulance will be able to transport up to 3 patients at once, that have been marked before.
- Quality of Life Improvements
- In addition to introducing new content, we will also be implementing a bunch of bug fixes, performance optimizations and gameplay adjustments. Among others, these include a fix for large police vehicles struggling to get out of the garage at Bannock Station, resolving some unjustified CP loss issues and a fix for the inability to greet NPCs in a new game’s first shift. Furthermore, we will increase the number of tool slots available for each patrol vehicle and define a useful default loadout, alongside others balancing adjustments. The complete changelog will be revealed in the release posting on March 12!
- As it is a high priority for us to improve the overall quality of the game, we are always working on more quality-of-life improvements to incorporate into future updates.
- Safety at night: The Warden Police Vehicle DLC(WPV)
- Light up the nights of Brighton with the new illuminating police vehicle!
- With the extraordinary addition of a two-sided lightbar on top of the vehicle, featuring the capability to display different messages, effectively communicating with NPCs during nighttime will become significantly more intuitive and effective!
- Set up a road barrier for NPCs on the same road to immediately secure accidents by displaying the term “ACCIDENT”, prevent NPCs from passing with “DO NOT PASS” and prompt another vehicle to pull over by showing “PULL OVER” when positioned in front of a car. However, keep in mind that the lightbar will only be effectively usable during the night. When getting out of the special vehicle while headlights are activated, the WPV will additionally be equipped with an underglow light to enhance its visibility at nighttime!
