1. Update 14:
  2. Quick patch to fix the global time statistic in the progression screen.
  3. There was a bug spotted by a player, I've fixed it, but realized the formatting of the time was incorrect when the player had less than an hour of playtime.
  4. Should be fixed now.
  5. Hotfix:
  6. This is a small patch fixing the blue canon aiming. At certain screen resolutions, the mouse cursor was not placed at the center of the blue canon when you were activating this one.
  7.
  8. Update 13:
  9. You can now use the keyboard and the gamepad at the same time, this is mostly useful if you want to use the stick of the gamepad to aim the blue cannons. Just make sure to disable the mouse cursor in the settings (the mouse will have priority over the gamepad).
  10. I have added a speedometer to the game UI. it will display the current ball speed at the bottom of the screen. Turn it on from the Game settings. It goes from 0 to 1000 which is the max speed of the ball. In some instances, the boosters can make the ball go faster than this.
  11. I have added a collision box above the flippers, this should prevent the ball to get kicked above the ground.
  12. Level changes:
  13. Made a booster bigger on Level 04.
  14. Added some fire near a teleporter on Level 08.
  15.
  16. Update 12:
  17. -The bridges in the peak world were not resetting when you were playing without CP - Fixed.
  18. -The blue canon camera changes were not resetting when you were playing without CP - Fixed.
  19. -CPs were still visible and making sounds when you were playing without CP - Fixed.
  20.
  21. Update 11:
  22. Fixes and changes:
  23. Fixed a collision on level 22 (Normal and B-Roll).
  24. Some tiny adjustments in the last levels (added some CP, removed some lasers, removed some red circles).
  25. Added LODs for the geometry and material of the aiming canon.
  26. Rebuilt the lighting and reflection in the highest quality (might not be visible, but it's good practice to do).
  27.
  28. Update 10:
  29. More optimization:
  30. Added material LODs for expensive materials. (Switching between translucent to masked, should reduce the draw calls on the GPU).
  31. Added LODs for more geometries. (Fewer polygons when the camera is far).
  32. Fixed the red circle collision which was affecting the ball trajectory on some instances (Thanks Matthew for finding this one!).
  33. The gamepad L-Stick needs to be pushed at least at 50% for the canon to rotate, this is to prevent very sensitive sticks from rotating the canon. (Need to be confirmed by Clovinoux).
  34. Added the shortcut achievement trigger to another cave level.
  35.
  36. Update 9:
  37. Optimization:
  38. A lot of optimization for the Volcano and Peak worlds (especially for the B-Roll version).
  39. Reduced by 90% the polycount of the lava!
  40. Optimized the materials so there are fewer draw calls on the GPU.
  41. Added some new LODs for some assets.
  42. Changes:
  43. The canon's previews are now colliding with the pads and bridges, they should also be a tiny bit more acurate.
  44. Now the death statistic for a level will increase if you fast-reset the level.
  45. Modified/fixed some sessions in the volcano and peak levels (Normal and B-Roll).
  46. Some blocking lasers have been fixed.
  47. Fixed some camera issues.
  48.
  49. Update 8:
  50. Levels:
  51. Some tiny adjustments in the Cliff and Volcano B-Roll levels, mainly one difficult session has been changed, and some other sessions were bringing tiny issues.
  52. A tiny bit of camera fix.
  53.
  54. General fixes:
  55. The zone unlocks animation was being played in B-Roll after finishing the Normal Mode, every time! (hopefully fixed!).
  56.
  57. Optimizations:
  58. Reduced level geometry for each Cliff level (-30% polygons). (better for GPU and CPU)
  59. Added mip-maps for most of the assets. (better for GPU according to the Unreal Engine documentation).
  60. Removed tick for most assets (these were unnecessary ticking on every frame). (better for CPU)
  61. Simplified some materials. (better for GPU)
  62. Default resolution when starting the game for the first time set to 1920x1080. (Sorry for the players with an 8K screen... the game was starting at the maximal resolution supported by the monitor, oopsie).
  63.
  64. Update 7:
  65. The camera will now move at 85% speed when the game is running at 70%, this should help to keep the camera and the ball synchronized.
  66. When using the slow mode, the camera will not use its "slow transition" animation, this is a setting I use when I want the camera to move a bit slower between two sessions.
  67. At the end of a level, pressing A/space was bringing you back to the level selection, this is now fixed (when playing the last level of a world, this will bring you back to the level selection as expected).
  68. Changed the credits!
  69. Level changes:
  70. Fixed B-Roll level 5 lasers. Adjusted two gravity holes so its easier to pass. Also fixed laser walls.
  71. Fixed B-Roll level 2 camera issue at the end.
  72. Fixed B-Roll level 7 camera issues in the vertical drop session.
  73. Potentially fixed B-Roll level 8 camera. I couldn't reproduce the issue where the camera was following the ball extremely slowly after a certain CP. I have placed more triggers in the hope to force the camera to move as it should.
  74.
  75. Update 6:
  76. A hole in level 24 was not really a hole and had a collision issue.
  77. Removed some laser walls in level 24, hopefully preventing from blocking the player.
  78. The Kubos in Tutorial 01 B-Roll is easier to catch.
  79. Some fixes:
  80. Removed patch notes on the main menu.
  81. Fixed the leaderboard icons, they should update and refresh properly.
  82. Fixed the AA setting in Low, this was looking horrible in the B-Roll world map, it should be better now.
  83. Reduced even more the death screen flash.
  84. It was very difficult to get a vertical shot using the keyboard while running the game at 165 FPS. So I have added a tiny animation to the flippers mimicking the analog from the gamepad triggers. This is not visible, but the physics engine recognizes it and this fixes the issue.
  85.
  86. Update 5:
  87. I have added some checkpoints in some levels of the Peak world.
  88. Fixed some camera triggers.
  89. Scaled a tiny bit the lava kill box, no more swimming in the lava!
  90. I have improved the blue canon ball trajectory preview (this should be more accurate! You can trust it now). I have as well made a new trail for it, it's cleaner.
  91. I have reduced the death screen effect, it should be less flashy.
  92.
  93. Update 4:
  94. The mouse control was no set properly after a game restart - fixed.
  95. The death count in the leaderboard screen was no resetting properly - fixed.
  96. The card "Out of Tutorials" was displayed at the end of Level 03 - fixed.
  97. Other important things that do not affect the player.
  98. I have updated some parts of some levels, the main change is on Level 25, I have modified a certain part of this level to be less frustrating!
  99. Level 13 in the B-Roll mode should be easier.
  100. Fixed a collision issue in a level in the Cliff world.
  101.
  102. Update 3:
  103. added a new setting in the "Keyboard Mapping" screen that allows you to turn on or off the use of the mouse cursor to drive the blue canons.
  104. It is on by default and should only work when you are using the keyboard (should switch off if you are using a controller).
  105. You can disable the feature and use left and right flippers to rotate the canons.
  106. Additionally, I have bound the mouse buttons to the flippers by default, you can still use the shift keys or any other custom keys, but the mouse buttons will always be bound to the flippers.
  107. This way you can use your left hand for other controls, and your right hand for flippers and canons.
  108.
  109. Update 2:
  110. Quick patch that should not affect you.
  111. Most of the changes are code clean-up and some optimizations.
  112. Also, I have done some leaderboard connection optimization and adjustments.
  113.
  114. Update 1:
  115. Quick patch that adds extra options in the screen resolution settings.
  116. Bringing the choice of supported resolution from 10 to 14.
