- 1.2.0 Cooking and Farming Update
- Hi Steam Community,
- The Cooking and Farming update is here and brings with it a New Cooking System, Plant Composting, Fertilizer, New Furniture and a bunch of Quality of Life/UI Improvements and bug fixes.
- New Cooking System
- Meals can be cooked using the new Stove. Food cooked on the stove lasts significantly longer and combines the effects of different food into a single item.
- Composting System
- You can now compost plants, seeds and unused vegetables into Fertilizer using the new Composter. Fertilizer can be used to accelerate the growth of crops and saplings. It can also be used to grow new plants relevant to the biome you’re in when used on the ground.
- New Furniture
- 3 new furniture sets have been added. There are new Wooden Drawers/Cabinets for each wood type and new Sofas for each fabric color.
- QOL/UI Improvements
- There are a bunch of improvements to UI and QOL. The default max item stack size has been increased to 50 for most items and to 150 for plants. The crafting recipe guide has seen some much needed improvements with crafting recipe grouping for variant recipes and the addition of recipes for items produced using Useables.
- Saplings now require a certain amount of space to grow with the amount of space required depending on the tree type. No more planting a sapling only to have it grow into another tree.
- Notable Bug Fixes
- The summon spell has been improved with summoned monsters immediately attacking the creature the player was looking at when cast. Summoned AI will now consistently attack bosses as well.
- The ambient sound system has also seen some work with fixes to occlusion on some ambient sounds. The world should sound much more alive. There is also now more aggressive occlusion on flowing water sounds. You shouldn't hear nearby rivers when underground and in an enclosed structure.
- What Comes Next?
- In regards to the next gameplay content update. I am going to keep what I am working on a secret for a little while as I want it to be a surprise. I’m pretty excited to work on it. There is much more to come for the game so stay tuned.
- As always thank you so much for the support and I hope you all enjoy the game :)
