1. Update v1.1.12:
  2. The focus of this patch is a smoother player camera.
  3. Before the player camera placement was updated on a fixed 60 FPS.
  4. Now in most cases the actual frame rate is used for the camera update, so the player camera now runs better if the screen and graphics card support higher frame rates. And even if the frame rate is only 60 FPS or lower, the camera movement should feel smoother now.

  6. Many animated or moving objects had to be reworked to update on a higher frame rate as well to avoid stuttering because of distinct frame rates.

  8. Another noticeable change is the fighting system.
  9. The different attacks have been made more distinct to make fights slightly more challenging and strategic.
  10. The punch attack now is more precise. It only hits objects in front of Ruffy. This makes it easier to hit a specific box on a tower of boxes. And hitting enemies will take a little effort now.
  11. The charge duration of the spin attack has been reduced to encourage players to use it more often. Also its range is higher now.
  12. The range of the stomp attack shock wave has also been increased.

  14. This update also contains many other small tweaks and bugfixes:
  15. - added a door and a white fade when leaving the town area through the small forest to avoid loading spikes in the small forest in front of town
  16. - changed how the camera follows the player in rivers if automatic camera alignment is enabled
  17. - when starting scan or throw, the camera zooms in faster now
  18. - fixed some multi throw selection issues:
  19. - when one of the selected objects got destroyed, the selection crosses didn't disappear again
  20. - the selection crosses had some small delay when moving the camera fast
  21. - camera zooms in narrow areas changes faster now
  22. - reduced the duration of some cutscenes
  23. - enemies walk smoother in general
  24. - added some new sounds
  25. - fixed some sounds which weren't affected by the global volume setting
  26. - reduced the amount of Ruffy voices
  27. - reduced dialogues of Pix
  28. - reduced waiting duration after applying the snoop onto the screen before Groll appears
  29. - changed some look directions after cutscenes and dialogues
  30. - Five Fellas quest:
  31. - fixed a bug where the opponent was stuck inside the ground while moving
  32. - reduced the difficulty a little
  33. - fixed some typos
  34. - halfpipe challenge:
  35. - increased the score of mini tricks, so everyone should be able to reach the 10.000 points required for proper cheating
  36. - more obvious hints that you are supposed to cheat during the halfpipe challenge
  37. - the forest tower riddle won't appear until you have to go there
  38. - fixed some issue where you can go out of bounds on the water spire
  39. - fixed some bug where you could get stuck in the world core
  40. - improved the unwraps for rivers
  41. - some fixes in the dialogue where you find the Heavenly Bell
  42. - viking ball can now collect coins
  43. - fixed bale controls: when riding the bale, it sometimes stopped moving for a short time after boosting
  44. - made the slot machine slower and easier to win
  45. - no need to press anything after watching the credits, the transition back to the main menu is automatic
  46. - fixed some subtle stuttering while caused by automatic camera alignment
  47. - ghosts at the graveyard always look in the direction they are flying to
  48. - fixed some issue with resetting the world core
  49. - fixed some duplicate voices during dialogues
  50. - scaled graffiti symbols to fit the grid drawing
  51. - increased hit boxes of environment assets (grass, one tree type)
  52. - small rework of stone enemy:
  53. - stones won't get destroyed immediately after hitting the stone enemy, so it doesn't get destroyed in a single hit
  54. - stones falling out of stone enemy disappear much faster

  56. - fixed some issue with the tower cutscene in intro

  59. Update v20250717:
  60. This patch mostly adds the convenience feature to fast forward dialogues and skip cutscenes, mostly for people not interested in the story, and for people wanting to replay the game like speedrunners.

  62. Dialogues will usually be fast forwarded, as if you mash very fast. So it won't work if dialogues have automated segments.
  63. And cutscenes will be skipped completely, even if a dialogue plays at the same time.
  64. For technical reasons, a small amount of cutscenes can't be skipped. But most of them, including the longest ones (like the intro cutscene) can be skipped.

  66. Besides that, these things has been changed:
  67. - consistent versioning among all platforms, so it's clear which console versions correspond to which Steam versions
  68. - window can now be resized properly
  69. - reduced the duration of some cutscenes
  70. - also added the button to exit the game to the settings in the pause menu

  75. - shortened dialogues until the beginning of the second area
  76. - shortened Quintus introduction dialogue (bufferfly sidequest)
  77. - improvements for the beginnig of the Pix quest

  79. - fixed an issue where the drawing board camera didn't always focus the waterfall
  80. - when drawing the first waterfall texture using the drawing board next to Pix, the waterfall will always turn back into water
  81. - different music when being lost in the Currents of Colors
  82. - fixed some missing character in the Japanese font
  83. - adjusted the apply effect radius for some objects
  84. - reduced the number of Ruffy gliding voices
  85. - second exit at wall riddle on Crash Island
