    13. sent out a demo album to Flemming Rasmussen, the        
    14. Grammy Award-winner producer of Metallica, they never    
    15. imagined themselves a few months later rehearsing with  
    16. Rasmussen inside a hot hogan on a Navajo reservation    
    17. before recording their debut album at the iconic Sweet  
    18. Silence Studio in Denmark. While following I Don't      
    19. Konform's fairy tale journey, our documentary REZ        
    20. METAL, tells the larger compelling story of the heavy    
    21. metal scene on Navajo reservations where many youths    
    22. have grown disaffected as a result of endemic poverty,  
    23. high rate of suicides, and domestic violence. By        
    24. exploring different metal bands and their perspectives  
    25. on music and contemporary life, this documentary will    
    26. capture the universality of their experience and        
    27. illustrate the many ways in which heavy metal music      
    28. engages disenfranchised Navajo youth in constructive    
    29. anger to effect positive change as well as to cope      
    30. with personal tragedy.
