    33. Antiquarian Thomasina Bateman is writing a book on
    34. the barrows of England, documenting the treasures
    35. she finds buried within. When an intriguing letter
    36. summons her to the small village of Bewlay, tucked
    37. away in the remote countryside, she sets off by
    38. train with her assistant a day behind.

    41. summoned her is nowhere to be found. Her assistant
