- Patch 1.1 Micropatch
- Hey everyone! It's Bruce, from Pixel Sprout Studios.
- First off, thank you and welcome to our new and returning players this past week! We love to see everyone enjoying Sun Haven, and we’re so glad you’ve loved the 1.1 update. This patch we tried some changes to make controller better for all the new Sun Haven who were having trouble with casting spells. However, we've heard your feedback (mostly from returning players), that the new cast system was just simply too slow. As such, we're releasing this micropatch to address that community feedback, as well as fix up a few things we had on our list.
- This post is to keep the community updated to make sure you’re all in the loop. and to make it very clear that we’ve heard your feedback in these past 24 hours.
- Now, we are happy to announce that these changes are now live:
- Patch 1.1 Micropatch Notes
- Controls for casting spells are being reverted back to the original quickcast system
- Controller controls are being reverted back to the original bindings
- Walking into the Altar Room with 7 or more altars completed will trigger the Epilogue quest (which means you won’t have to complete all 9 altars!)
- If you chose combat with Dynus, you’ll have to defeat him again to trigger the Epilogue quest (but you can do this with invincibility on, if you’d like)
- Elios’ glorious snout has returned from a temporary vacation
- Guava Berry Seeds are now going to be sold in the correct season of summer
- Guava Berry Seeds can now be grown in the summer and fall
- For controller, spells will be hard bound back to the D-Pad for now in order to make sure that all controller players get these changes. The D-Pad will not be editable/resettable, for now.
- Thanks for reading! Please restart your Steam to make sure the changes apply. We hope you all enjoy!
- Come early next week, we will deploy another micropatch (likely without any patch notes as it is expected to be rather small) to fix up some other minor issues, including the End of Day Screen not working in certain situations, as well as some language translation issues in a small number of languages! :)
- Have a great rest of the weekend, everyone!
- -Bruce, Director at Pixel Sprout Studios
