    14. The film opens with Jack tied to a chair in a warehouse,    
    15. guarded by heavies. He seems to have evoked the wrath of    
    16. the Guv'nor, who lectures him about 'losing respect'. A    
    17. girl called Natalie is present, and is clearly not in the  
    18. Guvnor's good books. As one of the heavies removes Jacks    
    19. gag, the Guvnor points a gun at his head. The scene fades  
    20. to black, followed by two gunshots. The scene opens in a    
    21. lively Paris bar, where the Messenger pushes his way        
    22. through the vibrant crowd and into the dressing room area  
    23. out back. He walks in on Girl X as she is changing. He is  
    24. here to deliver a message and some flowers from Garvey,    
    25. making clear that she is not pleased with Girl X            
    26. fraternizing with men in the bar. To really make a point,  
    27. he leaves a packet with her, which she discovers contains  
    28. a ring and some teeth. Jack awakens in a bathroom in        
    29. London next to the corpse of the Guvnor. Having been hit    
    30. around the head, Jack is suffering from amnesia and        
    31. cannot remember who he is or how he or the body got        
    32. there. He searches his pockets and finds a Polaroid of a    
    33. pair of breasts with the name 'Erin' and a Paris address    
    34. written on the other side. Hearing police sirens, he        
    35. decides to leave, figuring Paris is good place to lie      
    36. low. He finds some I.D that confirms his name and          
    37. address, so quickly heads there to get changes and          
    38. dispose of his blood-soaked clothes. Meanwhile, the        
    39. police begin investigating the Guvnor's death. They find    
    40. a piece of Jack's I.D and seem to recognize him. Jack      
    41. arrives in Paris and, via encounters with a talkative      
    42. taxi driver and a philosophical barfly, and an attempted    
    43. mugging at gunpoint; he calls at Erin's. Erin, Jack's      
    44. ex-girlfriend, agrees to take him in. Back in London, the  
    45. police are discussing Jack's criminal past and wondering    
    46. if he's progressed to murder. The news comes through that  
    47. Jack's credit card has been used in Paris. In a flashback  
    48. scene, we see Jack reluctantly agreeing to help Natalie    
    49. rip off the Guvnor. The next day, Jack heads out to        
    50. explore Paris. He happens upon a bar, where he sees Girl    
    51. X's show. Enamoured with her, he heads backstage, and      
    52. interrupts the Messenger delivering another 'message'      
    53. from Garvey. Jack swiftly and violently dispatches with    
    54. the Messenger, taking his gun. Seeing Jack's usefulness,    
    55. Girl X offers Jack payment to permanently dispose of        
    56. Garvey, who is in love with her, and has been making        
    57. threats against those close to her. Jack declines the      
    58. offer; due to his amnesia, he is still unsure of whether    
    59. he is capable of killing, and wants to keep a low profile  
    60. for a while. The British police are now on their way to    
    61. Paris. Natalie and her heavies are in hiding, and          
    62. anonymously tip off the police information about where      
    63. Jack may have headed. Semi-drunk, Jack returns to Erin's    
    64. apartment, where he falls asleep in the doorway, as Erin    
    65. is still at work. Erin returns, and has bought Jack a new  
    66. suit. They scrub up and head out for a night on the town.  
    67. Walking back along the Paris riverside, they flirt and      
    68. discuss their previous relationship. Jack still cannot      
    69. remember what happened, so Erin fills him in, explaining    
    70. how much he hurt her. Jack wants to make it up to her.      
    71. The sexual tension between them crescendos, and they head  
    72. home to bed. In the morning, Jack discovers a positive      
    73. pregnancy test kit in the bathroom. As it has only been a  
    74. few months since they split, and Erin has been single      
    75. since, he knows the child is his. As Jack heads out, Erin  
    76. declares her love for him; he doesn't respond. Meanwhile,  
    77. the police appear to have received some useful              
    78. information. Jack mulls things over and returns, where he  
    79. discovers that Erin has been brutally murdered. A bloody    
    80. warning, "Leave X alone" has been daubed on the wall.      
    81. Narrowly escaping the police, Jack heads to see Girl X,    
    82. and tells her he will deal with Garvey in exchange for      
    83. the payment she offered. He takes the money and heads to    
    84. a restaurant where Girl X is acting as bait to lure        
    85. Garvey. Jack threatens Garvey, but is talked out of        
    86. killing her due to the possibility of immediate reprisals  
    87. from her henchmen. When Girl X re-enters the restaurant    
    88. and sees Jack, Garvey realizes the two are colluding.      
    89. They run, but Jack is struck around the head by the        
    90. heavies and captured. The blow to Jacks head frees up his  
    91. memories. He remembers what happened in the warehouse;      
    92. Natalie killed the Guvnor, who was her father. She then    
    93. knocked Jack out and dumped him next to the body to try    
    94. to frame him. Jack wakes, tied to a chair in a warehouse.  
    95. This time he is at the mercy of Garvey, who begins          
    96. cutting chunks of flesh off Jack and eating them. She is    
    97. interrupted by a call from Girl X, and leaves. Jack        
    98. escapes from the warehouse by overpowering Twinkle, one    
    99. of Garvey's heavies. The police have found Erin's body      
    100. and are closing in on Natalie in London. Jack heads to      
    101. the bar to kill Garvey, but discovers Girl X has already    
    102. killed her. Girl X accidentally reveals that she killed    
    103. Erin to dupe Jack into going after Garvey. Jack attacks    
    104. Girl X, who staggers out to the bar and dies                
    105. spectacularly on stage. Jack takes the package with his    
    106. payment, which contains a picture of Serenity, Girl X's    
    107. daughter. Jack realizes that this is the person she was    
    108. trying to protect, and is now in danger from Garvey's      
    109. men. At Garvey's restaurant, Jack kills the Messenger and  
    110. rescues Serenity. Seeing a chance to try to make things    
    111. right and be the father he wanted to be to Erin's unborn    
    112. child, he takes Serenity with him. Just as he is about to  
    113. leave Paris, the police finally catch up with him,          
    114. revealing that he was deep undercover for the police, but  
    115. is now quitting. He leaves with Serenity for an unknown    
    116. destination.
